color me this :: soy crayons by clementine art

Clementine Art once asked the question:
Hm, what does "non-toxic" really mean in art supplies for kiddos?

The answer (for Diana of Clementine Art) was to make her own art supplies and know exactly what ingredients are and are not included.  And unlike most petroleum-based crayons, Clementine Art crayons are soy-based.

The modeling clay comes in flavors so yummy-sounding you might want to eat them (indeed, you probably could) -- strawberry, lemon and lime.

Crayon rocks (pictured here) seem perfect for chubby little fingers.  I can't wait to try out the tempura paints ... or the markers ... or ...

I'm actually not sure who will have more fun with these -- me, or the baby?  Also, check out these tips -- from Clementine and Elephant Journal -- on making EcoArt, after the jump.

1 had something to say. and you?:

Love these...I no longer have little kiddies but I have a godson that these would be perfect for! Actually, I may want to use them too!
