Ryan's storytelling is endearing and heartfelt. He chronicles his search for work, his wife's pregnancy, his love for his stepson, Little Buddy.
His photography, especially the belly photo series of his pregnant wife, however, takes the prize.

The other day I was doing girly things in the bathroom when I realized J was taking photos. "Did you just take a photo of me?" I asked, hopefully. He took another. "Of my belly?" He giggled: "How could I miss it?"
When I looked at the camera later, I realized he hadn't been taking photos of me at all. The real subject was the puppy, asleep at my feet. The final shot was a gratuitous one of me and my ginormous belly. It was hideous and I deleted it.
I think J and I will stick to puppy photos and leave the beautiful belly photos to the likes of Ryan and his gorgeous wife.

Oh how I miss the pregnant belly!! I loved being pregnant and having a life grow inside of me (three times) and I still mourn that those days are over for me. Best wishes to you!
